My name is Amber and I am a stay work-at-home-Momma to my sassy 19month old, Monica. :) I graduated from ECU with a degree in Political Science, minor in Business. I married my amazing, hard-working husband in May 2009 and am so grateful that he makes it possible for me to stay home with Monica and run MoJo's.
The extent of my sewing prior to starting MoJo's was sewing on buttons and hemming pants!! After I found out Monica was a girl, I began shopping for her nursery and quicly realized that the vision I had in my head could not be purchased! So, I took out the sewing machine (given to me a great aunt) and figured out how to make her curtains and crib skirt. Shortly after she was born, someone suggested me trying to make clothes....so I did. MoJo's was born. It is named after my daughter, Monica Jones. :) I went to my first craft show and made my first sale in October 2010. A little over a year later and I am amazed at how many friends, family, and people who have become friends that have supported and continue to support me! THANK YOU. :)
